This is such a cute and simple crochet earrings!. This is just made with a simple granny square!. I used two bright contrast color to make the earrings pop up, however you can make them in a single color!
Now onto the Crochet Pattern!
Materials Used:
Size8 Cotton Crochet Thread in 2 Colors
1.25 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Earring Hooks
White glue and water for blocking
Crochet Terms (US Terminology):
ch: Chain
mr: Magic Ring
st(s): Stitch (es)
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
Crochet Pattern:
With Color1:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch3(considered as 1st dc), 11dc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting ch3 (12dc sts)
Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!
Round2: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1 more dc on the same st, 2dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3 (24dc sts)
With Color2:
Round3: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1 more dc on the same st, ch3,2dc on the next st, 1dc on next 4sts, *2dc on next st,ch3,2dc on the next st, 1dc each on next 4sts*. Repeat *to* 2 more times. Slst on top of starting ch3. Fasten off and weave the ends!
Stiffen the earrings using one part water and 1 part glue mix up well. Dip your work in that solution and air dry it for a day!
