These Teddy Head Amigurumi are great for Keyrings!. They work up super quick and they look super adorable!
Materials Used:
Yarn: Bernat Baby Velvet
Colors: Bleached Aqua, Potpourri, Ever After Pink
4mm Crochet Hook
Safety Eyes and Nose
Polyfil
Tapestry Needle
Sewing Needle
Black Crochet Thread
Scissors
Stitch Marker
You can work the same pattern in regular size 4 acrylic yarn as well!.
If you are using regular size4 acrylic yarn use 3.5mm crochet hook!
Crochet Terms (US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
sc: Single Crochet
sc2together: Single Crochet Two Together
slst: Slip Stitch
Crochet Pattern:
We will work on a spiral, so we will need a stitch marker to identify the first stitch of each round!.
Head:
Round1: Magic Ring 6sc around the magic ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(12sts)
Round3: 1sc in one st and 2sc on the next st around(18sts)
Round4: 1sc each in 2sts, 2sc on the next st around(24sts)
Round5: 1sc each in 3sts, 2sc on the next st around(30sts)
Round6-10: 1sc on each st around(30sts)
Round11: 1sc each in 3sts and sc2together in next 2sts around(24sts)
Round12: 1sc each in 2sts and sc2together in next 2sts around(18sts)
Round13: 1sc each in 1sts and sc2together in next 2sts around(12sts)
Attach the safety eyes and stuff the head with polyfil!
Place the safety eyes between 5th and 6th rows with in between 4 stitch spaces!.
Round14: sc2together in every 2sts around(6sts). Slst around to close the opening.
Muzzle:
Round1: Magic Ring 6sc around the magic ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(12sts)
Round3-4: 1sc on each st around(12sts). Slst and leave a long tail for sewing.
Add the Safety nose.
Ears(Make2):
Round1: Magic Ring 5sc around the magic ring(5sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(10sts)
Round3-4: 1sc on each st around(10sts). Slst and leave a long tail for sewing
Sew the muzzle to the head in between the eyes!
Sew the ears to the head!
Embroider the details on the nose!
Attach a Key ring and you can gift them as a key ring!
