I decided to jump on this craziness!. Yes, into the Squid Game Bandwagon!. I totally enjoyed making these Pink Soldiers or Red Soldiers from the trending web series ‘The Squid Game’. I made this pattern very easy and a quick make. I hope you’ll enjoy making these ‘Red Soldier’ Amigurumi as much as I did.
Each doll measure about 6inches.
You can use any size4 worsted weight yarn from any brand for making these red soldiers. I went with what I had in Hand.
Materials Used:
Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver
Color: Black
Yarn: I love this Yarn(Hobby Lobby)
Color: Red

3.5mm Crochet Hook
Stitch Marker
Scissors
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
sc2together: Single Crochet Two Together
slst: Slip Stitch
V: increse
A: Decrese
X: sc
Crochet Pattern:
Throughout this project we will be working in spiral, which means we will not end each round with the slip stitch. We will continuously work the next round. Hence we will need a stitch marker to identify our first stitch of each round!.
Legs and Body:
Leg1:
With Black Yarn:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc around the Magic Ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3-4: 1sc on each st around (12sts). Change Color to Red
With Red Yarn:
Round5-9: 1sc on each st around (12sts). Fasten off
Leg2:
With Black Yarn:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc around the Magic Ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3-4: 1sc on each st around (12sts). Change Color to Red
With Red Yarn:
Round5-9: 1sc on each st around (12sts). Do not Fasten off.
Now we will start working the Body!
Round10: Hold the Leg1 near Leg2 and work 1sc on each st around (24sts)
Round11-13: 1sc on each st around (24sts).
Change Color to Black
With Black Yarn:
Round14: 1sc on each st around (24sts). Change Color to Red
With Red Yarn:
Round15-21: 1sc on each st around (24sts)
Round22: Work 1sc on 2sts and sc2together on next 2 sts around (18sts)
Round23: 1sc on each st around (18sts)
Stuff you body with polyfil before working Round24.
Round24: Work 1sc on one st and sc2together on next 2 sts around (12sts)
Round25: Work sc2together on next 2 sts around (6sts). Slst, Fasten off and Sew the opening using a Tapestry Needle
Head:
With Black Yarn:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc around the Magic Ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Round4: 1sc on each st around (18sts)
Round5: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around (24sts)
Round6-8: 1sc on each st around (24sts)
Round9: Work 1sc each on 2sts and sc2together on next 2 sts around (18sts)
Round10: 1sc on each st around (18sts)
Round11: Work 1sc on one st and sc2together on next 2 sts around (12sts)
Before working Round12, stuff the head with polyfil
Round12: Work sc2together on next 2 sts around (6sts). Slst, Fasten off and Sew the opening using a Tapestry Needle.
Hood:
With Red Yarn:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc around the Magic Ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Round4: 1sc on each st around (18sts)
Round5: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around (24sts)
Round6: 1sc on each st around (24sts)
Round7: 1sc each on 3sts and 2sc on the next st around (30sts)
Round8-11: 1sc on each st around (30sts). Slst Fasten off and leave a long tain for sewing.
Hand:(Make 2)
With Black Yarn:
Round1: Magic Ring, 5sc around the Magic Ring(5sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (10sts)
Round3: 1sc on each st around (10sts)
With Red Yarn:
Round4-7: 1sc on each st around (10sts)
Round8: Work 1sc on one st and sc2together on next 2 sts around. 1sc on the last st (7sts)
Round9-12: 1sc on each st around (7sts). Slst Fasten off and leave a long tain for sewing.
Assembling:
With a black Yarn sew in a zipper line to your body as shown.
Place the Head(Black) inside the Hood and sew both using the long tail left with Hood.
Now Using a Black Yarn Sew Zipper line as shown in the Body.
Now Sew Both the Hands to the Body.
Finally Sew the Head to the Body.
With White Yarn sew the symbols on the Head!
Thats it, your favorite Red Soldier is ready!
