I fell in love with this cute Crochet Purse that I created with some cute puff flower embellishment!
This is a quick and easy pattern that you’ll absolutely enjoy working
Materials Needed:
Yarn: Cotton Fair Bulky
Brand: Premier Yarns
Color: Fushcia, Dafodil
4.5 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Magnetic snap button
Tapestry needles
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
sc: Single Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
ch: Chain
hdc: Half Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
dc2together: Double Crochet Two Together
Crochet Pattern:
Base:
Round1: ch13, 3hdc on the 2nd ch from the hook, 1hdc on the next 10 chains, 3hdc on the last ch(this should turn your work), 1hdc on the next 10 chains on the opposite side, Slst on the top of starting st.(26sts)
Round2: ch1(does not count as a st) 1sc on each st around. Slst on top of starting st(26sts)
For each round once you slst you will start on the next st after last slst. And you don’t count starting ch1 as a stitch. And your last st will be on the last slst.
Round3: ch1(does not count as a st), *1sc on the next st. 1 long sc that is worked in the bottom of the next sc st. *(Refer pic). Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting st.(26sts)
Round4-13: Repeat Round3
Round14: ch1(does not count as a st). 1sc each on next 15sts, 1sc on the next st, ch25(make sure the loop is not twisted). Slst on the same st. 1sc on the next 10sts. Slst on top of starting st.
Flap:
Round1: Magic ring ch3(considered as 1st dc)+11dc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting ch3(12dc sts)
Round2: ch2,dctogether and ch1 on 1st st, dc2together +ch1 on each st around. Slst on top of starting dc2together. (12dc2together with in between ch1 sp)
Round3: Slst on the next ch1 sp. ch3(considered as 1st dc), 2dc on 1st ch1 sp, ch1, 3dc+ch1 on each ch1 space. Slst on top of starting ch3. FO.
Puff Flower:
Round1: Magic Ring, 12sc on the magic ring. Slst on the starting st.
Round2: #Ch3, *insert the hook on the same st weave a long loop, yo pull through 2 loops only*, repeat *to* 2 more times, * insert the hook on the next st weave a long loop, yo pull through 2 loops only*, repeat *to* 2 more times, yo pull through all the loops except last 2 loops. Yo pull through last 2 loops. Ch3, Slst on the same st. #. Repeat #to# 5 more times. Slst on the starting st.
Center puff: ch4, *yo insert the hook on the ch1, pull up a long loop*. Repeat *to* 7 more time. YO pull through all loops ch1.
