How about an easy peasy Easter project?… Bonus, it’s no sew!. How exciting!, isn’t it?. I found these cute chenille yarn from Dollar Store and I bought plenty of them!.
They came in beautiful colors perfect for Easter and I came up with this really easy fun project!
Materials Used:
Yarn:Just Chenille
Brand: Premier
Color: Pink, Lavender and mint
Any Size 4 yarn in color white
5mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Hot glue gun
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
sc: Single Crochet
hdc: Half Double Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
Crochet Pattern:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc on the magic ring(6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3: sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Round4: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around(24sts)
Round5: 1sc each on 3sts and 2sc on the next st around(30sts)
Round6: 2sc on the one st and 1sc each on 4sts around(36sts)
Round7: 1slst on each st around. Slst on starting st. Fasten off and weave the ends.
Bunny Ears:(Make 2)
Ch9, 1sc on 2nd ch from the hook. 1hdc st in next 3 ch, 1dc st in next 3ch. 5dc on the last ch. 1dc on next 3ch(working on the opposite side). 1hdc on next 3 ch on opposite side. 1sc on the last ch on opposite side. Fasten off and leave a long tail and weave the ends.
Tail:
Make a Pom Pom by following the video or using a Pom Pom maker with size4 yarn in white color.
Now attach the ears and tail to the coaster using a hot glue gun. You can also sew them to the coaster.
