Looking for a quick project or a project to use up your stash, well these Scrunchies will solve the purpose!. If you don’t have velvet yarn , you can use the very same pattern and work with regular size4 acrylic yarn or cotton yarn with same 4mm crochet hook.
Materials Used:
Yarn: Bernat Baby Velvet Yarn
Color: Pot pourri
4mm Crochet Hook
Hair Tie
Scissors
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
sc: Single Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
sts: Stitches
Crochet Pattern:
Round1: Work 40sc on the hair tie. Slst on top of starting sc.(40sts)
There is no restriction on the number of sc worked for Round1. You can vary this number based on the hair tie you use.
Round2: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1 more dc on the same st. 2dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3. (80dc sts)
Round3: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 2 more dc on the same st. 3dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3. (240dc sts).Fasten off and weave the ends!
