It’s officially Spring and there are Spring Blooms everywhere!…I love the spring blossoms. They inspired me to crochet these cute Spring Bloom earrings!
Pattern is simple and easy!
Materials Used:
Size8 Cotton Crochet Thread
1.25 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Earring Hooks and Jewelry Rings
White glue and water for blocking
Small Pearl and sewing needle
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
sc: Single Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
hdc: Half Double Crochet
sp: Space
slst: Slip Stitch
picot: ch3, Slst on the same st
Crochet Pattern:
With Color1:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch3(considered as 1st dc), 11dc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting ch3.(12dc sts). Change the color.
Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!
With Color2:
Round2: ch1(doesn’t count as a stitch). 1sc on the same stitch, (1hdc,3dc,1hdc) on the next stitch, *1sc on next st, (1hdc,3dc,1hdc) on the next stitch *.Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc. Change the color.
With Color1:
Round3: ch1(doesn’t count as a stitch). 1sc on the same stitch of round1 where round2 sc is worked, *ch3, sc,1picot on the 2nd hdc of the previous round, ch3, 1sc on the same stitch of round1 where round2 sc is worked*. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc. Fasten off and weave the ends.
Now sew a Pearl to the center of the earrings!
Stiffen the earrings using one part water and 1 part glue mix up well. Dip your work in that solution and air dry it for a day!
