Y’all… It’s another Halloween Project time!. How cute are there Witch Hat Keyrings?. They are super easy to make and they are a wonderful classroom gift or workplace gift for Halloween!.
Materials Used:
Any Worsted weight yarn (Size 4)
Colors: Orange, Black
3.5mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Stitch Markers
Keyrings
Crochet Terms (US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
sc: Single Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
Crochet Pattern:
We will be working in a spiral. So we will need a stitch marker to identify the beginning stitch of each row.
With Color Orange:
Round1: Magic Ring, 4sc around the magic ring (4sts)
Round2: 1sc on each st around (4sts)
Round3: 2sc on each st around (8sts)
Round4-5: 1sc on each st around (8sts)
Round6: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (12sts)
Round7: 1sc on each st around (12sts)
Round8: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around (16sts)
Round9: 1sc on each st around (16sts)
Round10: 1sc each on 3sts and 2sc on the next st around (20sts)
Round11-13: 1sc on each st around (20sts)
Change the color to Black:
Round14: 1sc on each st around (20sts)
Change the color to Orange:
Round15: 2sc on each st around (40sts)
Round16: 1sc on each st around. Slst on top of starting sc. Fasten off and weave the ends.(40sts)
Now attach the Keyring to a stitch that sticks on the top.
