Hello Peeps!… there are some days when you are extremely satisfied for your work!. In this post I am going to share one of those work!. My new beanie pattern, ‘Bubble Wrap Beanie’!

Now let’s jump into the pattern!
Materials:
For Adult Size:
Yarn: I love this yarn(Hobby Lobby)
Color: Parcel & Bow
Approximately 200 yards for one Adult Size Hat
Crochet Hook: 5mm (H Hook) (or use the hook that obtains the specified gauge)
Scissors
Leather Tags and Sewing Needles (Optional)
Gauge:
Using Size 4 Yarn and 5mm Crochet Hook work,
Row1: ch13, 1hdc on the 4th ch from the and 1hdc on each ch till the end.
Row2: ch2 turn(considered as 1st hdc), 1hdc on each till the end (11hdc sts)
Row3-7: Repeat Row2. Fasten off
It should measure 3.4” (inches) length and 3” (inches) height

We will be working on a stitch called as a Pebble Stitch which is a regular Puff Stitch except that it is worked on the Wrong Side(WS)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.

Adult Size Hat:
Working on the Brim:
Round 1: Chain 70, Make sure that your chain is not twisted and work a slst on to the starting chain.
Round 2: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc on the 3rd loop(back bump) of each ch around. Slst on top of starting ch3.(70 dc sts)
Round 3: 1bpsc,ch2( considered as 1st bpdc), 1fpdc on the next st, * 1bpdc on the next st and 1fpdc on the st after that *. Repeat * to * around and work a Slst on top of ch2 of the starting bpdc,ch2 (35 bpdc sts and 35 fpdc sts)
Round 4 – Round 6: Repeat Round2.
Working on the Hat:
Round 7: ch3 (considered as 1st dc), 1dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3(70dc sts)
Round 8: 1bpsc,ch2( considered as 1st bpdc), 1bpdc on each st around. Slst on top of ch2 of the starting bpdc,ch2 (70bpdc sts)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.
It’s a regular puff stitch except that it’s worked in the wrong side like a bobble stitch.
Round 9:(worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(35sc sts and 35 PS )
Round 10:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1sc on top is sc of previous round, 1sc on top of PS of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc.(70sc sts)
Round 11: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1PS on the same st, 1sc on the next st, *1PS on the next st, 1sc on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting PS(35 PS and 35 sc sts )
In this row we work Pebble Stitch in such a way that it’s in between the two PS of Round9.
Round 12:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1sc on top is PS of previous round, 1sc on top of sc of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc.(70sc sts)
Round 13:(worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(35sc sts and 35 PS )
Round 14:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn ,1hdc on the same st. 1hdc on each st around . Slst on top of starting hdc.(70hdc sts)
Round 15: (worked in RS) 1bpsc, ch1(considered as 1st bphdc ), 1bphdc on next 4 sts and bphdc2together on next 2 sts, *1bphdc st on next 5 sts and bphdc2together in next 2 sts * . Repeat * to * around. Slst on top of starting bphdc.(60 bphdc sts)
Round 16:(worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(30sc sts and 30 PS )
Round 17:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st and 1sc each on next 3 sts and sc2together on next 2 sts , *1sc each on next 4 sts and sc2together on next 2 sts* . Repeat * to * around. Slst on top is starting sc (50sc sts)
Round 18: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1PS on the same st, 1sc on the next st, *1PS on the next st, 1sc on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting PS(25PS and 25 sc sts)
Round 19: (worked on the RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on each st around. Slst on top of starting sc. (50sc sts)
Round 20: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(25sc sts and 25 PS )
Round 21: (worked in RS) ch1 (does not count as st) turn, 1hdc on the same st. 1hdc on each st around. Slst on top of starting hdc. (50hdc sts)
Round 22: (worked in RS) 1bpsc, ch1(considered as 1st bphdc ), 1bphdc on next 2 sts and bphdc2together on next 2 sts, *1bphdc st on next 3 sts and bphdc2together in next 2 sts * . Repeat * to * around. Slst on top of starting bphdc(bpsc,ch1).(40 sts)
Round 23:(worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(20sc sts and 20 PS )
Round 24:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st and 1sc on next st and sc2together on next 2 sts , *1sc each on next 2 sts and sc2together on next 2 sts* . Repeat * to * around. Slst on top is starting sc (30sc sts)
Round 25: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1PS on the same st, 1sc on the next st, *1PS on the next st, 1sc on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting PS(15PS and 15 sc sts)
Round 26: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st and sc2together on next 2 sts , *1sc on next st and sc2together on next 2 sts* . Repeat * to * around. Slst on top is starting sc (20sc sts)
Round 27: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(10sc sts and 10 PS )
Round 28: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, hdc2together around. slst on top of starting hdc2together(10 sts)
Round 29: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, sc2together around. slst on top of starting sc2together(5 sts).
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing. You can sew the opening and then sew in your Pom Pom. Weave the ends!.
Now you can sew in your leather tag to your brim!. (Optional)
