These cute ‘Tote Bag Keychains’ are super simple and easy to make. They are perfect for return gifts and market makes!
If you have some left over size 4 yarn you can whip couple of them in an hour.
Materials Needed:
Size 4 Yarn
3.5 mm Crochet Hook
Stitch Markers
Leather Tags
Scissors
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
sc: Single Crochet
ch: Chain
Slst: Slip Stitch
st(s): Stitch(es)
Crochet Pattern:
Round 1: Magic Ring, 8sc around the magic ring.(8sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around.(16sts)
Round3: 1sc in one st and 2sc on next st around(24sts)
Round4: 1sc each in 3sts and 2sc on next st around(30sts)
Round5-11: 1sc on each st around(30sts)
Round12: 1sc each in 5sts, ch10, skip 5sts, 1sc each on next 10sts, ch10, skip 5sts,1sc each on last 5sts
Round13: 1slst each on 5sts, work 12sc on the ch10, 1slst each on next 10sts, work 12sc on the ch10, 1slst each on last 5sts.
Weave the ends and fasten off.
Add a button or any cute decor to the bags. I used Teddy leather tags and stuck them using a hot glue gun.
Add a keychain ring to the bags handle to make it into a cute Keychain
