Looking for a cute table decor amjgurumi?… Well, I got you covered!. Here’s a mini sunflower pattern that’s really simple and easy to, also it works up quickly!
Materials Needed:
Yarn: size 4 acrylic yarn
Colors: Tan, Dark Brown, Dark Green and Yellow
3.5 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Floral Wire
Floral Wire Cutter
Stitch Marker
Some pebbles
Plastic Water Bottle cap
Polyfil
Hot Glue Gun
Crochet Terms(US Terminology)
mr: Magic Ring
st(s): Stiches
ch: Chain
sc: Single Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
Crochet Pattern:
Flower Pot:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc on the magic ring (6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Round4: 1sc on each st around on the 3rd loop of each st of Round3(18sts)
Round5-7: 1sc on each st around(18sts)
Round8: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around(24sts)
Round9: 1sc on each st around (24sts)
Dirt:
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc on the magic ring (6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Round4: 1sc each on 2sts and 2sc on the next st around(24sts)
Now with the color you used for flower pot work Slst on the blo of each st on the dirt and last round of flower pot.
Now stuff the pot with polyfil and weight.
Crochet Sunflower:
With Brown Yarn(Make2):
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc on the magic ring (6sts)
Round2: 2sc on each st around(12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18sts)
Now place both pieces with wrong side facing inside and work slst on the blo of each st on the two pieces of the brown part.
Petals:
With Yellow Yarn:
Insert the yarn in any stitch, slst on the st, *ch3, 3dc on the next st, ch3, slst on the next st*. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of the starting st.
Leaf(Make2):
Ch8, work 3slst on the 2nd ch from the hook, 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc, 3slst on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th sts, now work the following sts on the opposite side 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc, 1hdc, 1sc on each st on the opposite direction. Slst on top of starting slst.
Now wrap the floral wire with green yarn and add a little hot glue to attach the wire to flower on one side and pot on the other side.
