Yet another Sunflower pattern!.I am so obsessed with Sunflowers lately and here it is, a super quick and super easy Sunflower Coaster Pattern!
It just takes 20-30 minutes to complete one coaster and if you are looking for last minute teacher gifts or for someone, you can whip this up real quick!
Materials Used:
Yarn: Peaches & Cream
Colors: Dark Taupe, Gold
4mm Crochet hook
Handmade wood tags
Scissors
Sewing Needle
Crochet Terms (US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitches
sp(s): Spaces
sc: Single Crochet
hdc: Half Double Crochet
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
picot: ch3, 1slst on starting stitch
cluster: 2dc,ch2,2dc
Yo: Yarn Over
Crochet Pattern:
With Color Dark Taupe:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch1(does not count as a stitch),12hdc sts around the magic ring.Slst on top of starting hdc(12sts)
Round2: ch1(does not count as a stitch),2hdc sts on each stitch around. Slst on top of starting hdc(24sts)
Round3: ch1(does not count as a stitch),1hdc on one stitch and 2hdc on next stitch around. Slst on top of starting hdc(36sts)
Round4: ch1(does not count as a stitch),1hdc on two sts and 2hdc on next stitch around. Slst on top of starting hdc(48sts)
With Color Gold:
Round5: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc on the same stitch, ch2, 2dc on the same st, *skip 3 sts, (2dc,ch2,2dc) on the next st*. Repeat *to* around. Skip last 3sts and Slst on top of starting ch3.
Round6: ch1(does not count as a stitch),1sc between last dc and starting ch3 of round5. *(3dc,picot,3dc) on the ch2 space, 1sc between the 2 clusters(cluster: 2dc,ch2,2dc group worked in round5)*. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc. Fasten off and weave the ends!
