Bright and beautiful summer will be here soon. Here’s a simple and easy pattern for working this beautiful ‘Wildflower Earrings’. Have fun making them as gifts or for yourselves!.
Materials Used:
Size8 Cotton Crochet Thread
1.25 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Earring Hooks and Jewelry Rings
White glue and water for blocking
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
slst: Slip Stitch
dc: Double Crochet
sp: Space
dctogether: Double Crochet Together
dc2together: Double Crochet Two Together
Crochet Pattern:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch2,dctogether (considered as 1st dc2together), ch3, repeat *dc2together, ch3* seven more times. Slst on top of starting (ch2,dctogether). (8 dc2together with in between ch2 spaces)
Round2: Slst on next ch3 sp. (ch2,dctogether (considered as 1st dc2together),ch1,dc2together) all worked on the same ch3 sp, ch2, work *(dc2together,ch1,dc2together) on the next ch3 sp, ch2* on every ch3 space. Slst on top of starting ch2,dctogether.
Round3: slst on the next ch1 sp, ch1(not considered as a st), 1sc on the same ch1 sp. *(ch3, 2dc on the ch1), 1sc on the next ch2 sp, (ch3, 2dc on the ch1), 1sc on the next ch1 sp*. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc. (16 petals)
Fasten off and weave the ends
Stiffen the earrings using one part water and 1 part glue mix up well. Dip your work in that solution and air dry it for a day!
Once blocked and earring hooks to any of the petals worked!
