mr: Magic Ring

ch: Chain

sc: Single Crochet

dc: Double Crochet

trc: Treble Crochet

dc2together: Double Crochet 2 Together

dc3together: Double Crochet 3 Together

slst: Slip Stitch

sp: Space

Crochet Pattern:

Round1: Magic Ring, 8sc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting sc(8sc sts)

Round2: ch2,dc2together(considered as 1st dc3together), ch2, *dc3together, ch2 on the next st*. Repeat *to* on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch2, dctogether(8dc3together with in between ch2 spaces)

Round3: slst on the next ch2 sp, 6trc on the 2nd ch2 sp, (2trc,3dc) on the 3rd ch2 sp, 4dc on the 4th ch2 sp, (3dc,1picot,3dc) on the 5th ch2 sp, 4dc on the 6th ch2 sp, (3dc,2trc) on the 7th ch2 sp, 6trc on the 8th ch2 sp, slst on the 1st ch2 sp. Fasten off and weave the ends.

Next we will make the tail and tassels for the book mark!

Tassels: Join the crochet thread on the picot stitch and *work 3ch and work 2dc on the ch1(1scallop)*, repeat *to* 21 more times. We should have 22 scalloped stiches. Leave a tail and work slst and fasten off.

For Tassels:

Hold your index finger, middle finger and ring finger as shown and roll the thread around for fifty times. Not them and make tassels as shown.
