This is such a cute, simple and warm headband that is perfect and cozy for winter!. Did I forget to mention that this is a new addition to my ‘Bubble Wrap’ Collection?.
Well it is!. Now, let’s jump into the pattern!. I have free written pattern and video tutorial to work this headband for a Adult Size!

Materials:
For Adult Size:
You can use any size 4 yarn for this project.
Yarn: I love this yarn(Hobby Lobby)
Color: Rosy Cheeks, Graymist
Approximately 60 yards in each color for one Adult Size Headband
Crochet Hook: 5mm (H Hook) (or use the hook that obtains the specified gauge)
Scissors
Handmade Wooden Tags and Sewing Needles (Optional)
Gauge:
Using Size 4 Yarn and 5mm Crochet Hook work,
Row1: ch13, 1hdc on the 4th ch from the and 1hdc on each ch till the end.
Row2: ch2 turn(considered as 1st hdc), 1hdc on each till the end (11hdc sts)
Row3-7: Repeat Row2. Fasten off
It should measure 3.4” (inches) length and 3” (inches) height
We will be working on a stitch called as a Pebble Stitch which is a regular Puff Stitch except that it is worked on the Wrong Side(WS)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.

Crochet Pattern:
Adult Size:
Round1: ch64, Make sure your chain is not twisted, Slst on top of starting ch(64 ch)
Round2: ch1(does not count as a st), 1hdc on the 3rd loop of same ch, 1hdc on the 3rd loop of each ch around. Slst on top of starting hdc(64hdc sts)
Round3: ch1(does not count as st), 1hdc on the 3rd loop of the same st.(3rd loop is a loop that shows up when you turn your work sideways,just on the side of the top ‘V’s, refer pic). 1hdc of 3rd loop of each st around. Slst on top of 1st hdc st(64hdc sts)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.
It’s a regular puff stitch except that it’s worked in the wrong side like a bobble stitch.
Pebble Stitch Row is always worked in the Wrong Side
Round4: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(32sc sts and 32PS )
Round5: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1sc on top is sc of previous round, 1sc on top of PS of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc.(64sc sts)
Round6: Repeat Round4
Round7: Repeat Round5
Round8: Repeat Round4
Round9: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1hdc on top is sc of previous round, 1hdc on top of PS of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting hdc.(64hdc sts)
Round10: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st), 1hdc on the 3rd loop of the same st. 1hdc of 3rd loop of each st around. Slst on top of 1st hdc st(64hdc sts). Slst, fasten off and Weave the ends!.
You can sew in a Handmade Wooden Tag to your head band with a sewing needle.(Optional)
This headband approximately measure about 20inches!
Points to Remember:
Always note the stitch count at the end of each round and check if it matched with the count on the pattern!. In that way you will not miss or add stitches to your work!.
