I am planning to make a series of princess inspired earrings!. The first one in the series is Snow White Earrings, inspired from Princess Snow White!. I chose bright yellow, navy blue and red for making these earrings!. Pattern is very simple and easy!
Materials Used:
Size8 Cotton Crochet Thread
Colors: Red, Navy Blue, Yellow
1.25 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Earring Hooks
White glue and water for blocking
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
slst: Slip Stitch
YO: Yarn Over
dc: Double Crochet
sp: Space
Puff Stitch: YO, *insert your hook on the stitch pull up a long loop*. Repeat *to* 2 more times. YO pull through all the loops.
Crochet Pattern:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch3(considered as 1st dc), 11dc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting ch3 (12dc sts)
Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!
Puff Stitch: YO, *insert your hook on the stitch pull up a long loop*. Repeat *to* 2 more times. YO pull through all the loops.
Round2: Work a Puff St and ch2 on each st around. Slst on top of starting Puff st. (12 puff st with inbetween ch2 sp)
Round3: slst on to the next ch2 sp. ch3(considered as 1st dc), 2 more dc on the same ch2 sp. Work (2dc,ch2,2dc) on the next ch2 sp. *Work 3dc on next ch2 sp and (2dc,ch2,2dc) on the next ch2 sp*. Repeat * to * around!. Slst on top of starting ch3. Fasten off and weave the ends!
Stiffen the earrings using one part water and 1 part glue mix up well. Dip your work in that solution and air dry it for a day!
