Who doesn’t like to create kawaii stuff…? I really love creating these cute keyring. They are so quick and easy to make!. So if you are wondering what to make, especially you need to give it to a lot of people, this project will get you covered!.
I made this using Big Twist Value yarn, perfect for this project but you can use any worsted weight yarn of your choices. This project only requires less than 100 yards of yarn, so it’s also wonderful stash busting idea!
Materials Used:
Yarn: Big Twist Value Yarn
Color: Aqua
3.5 mm Crochet Hook
Poly fill
Safety Eyes
Scissors
Needle+black embroidery thread
Stitch Marker
Abbreviation (US Terms):
mr: Magic ring
st(s): stich(es)
hdc: half double crochet
slst: slip stitch
blo: back loop
Crochet Pattern:
Round 1: Magic Ring 5 sc around the magic ring (5sts)
Round 2: 2sc on each st around (10sts)
Round 3: 1sc on one st and 3hdc on the next st around(20sts)
Round 4: 1sc in next 2 sts, 3hdc in the next st. (1sc in the next 3sts, 3hdc in the next st)4times, 1sc in the last st(30sts)
Round 5: 1sc in next 3 sts, 3hdc in the next st. (1sc in the next 5sts, 3hdc in the next st)4times, 1sc in the last 2sts(40sts). Slst in the starting st fasten off
Work one more star with the same pattern and after the last Slst do not fasten off. Hold the wrong side of both the star together and work slip stitch on the back loop of each stitch of both the star around. Check out the video tutorial to see how this is worked!
