It’s summer time most of us are traveling with shades on!. Sometimes you will need to remove the shades and put them back on!. This cute accessory can be worn on the neck and hold your shades!.
It’s best when worked with neutral colored yarn. Also a yarn that’s thicker like a bulky yarn. I used 2 strands of Lion Brand Yarn’s low tide yarn. This was on my stash for a while. I thought this will go well with this project!
Materials Used:
Yarn: Low tide
Brand: Lion Brand
5mm Crochet Hook
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Handmade tag
Press buttons
Keyring holder and clasp
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
ch: Chain
dc: Double Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
mr: Magic Ring
Crochet Pattern:
Round1: Magic Ring, ch3(considered as 1st dc), 11dc around the Magic Ring. Slst on top of starting ch3(12dc sts)
Round2: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc on the same st, 2dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3(24dc sts)
Round3: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 2dc on next st, 1dc in one st and 2dc on next st around. Slst on top of starting ch3(36dc sts)
Round4: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc on the 2nd st, 2dc on next st, 1dc each in 2sts and 2dc on next st around. Slst on top of starting ch3(48dc sts)
Round5: ch1(doesn’t count as a st), 1 reverse sc on the same st and each st around . Slip stitch on starting stitch. (48sts)
Now fold your work and add press buttons as shown. Sew them using a sewing needle.


Next sew the handmade tag on top as shown:

Strap:Slip knot ch 100 make sure the chain is not twisted. Slst on top of starting ch.
Add this to the keyring with clasp as shown. Now add the clasp to one end of the folded edge.
Your easy peasy eyewear holder is done in minutes.
