Hurray!. My next crochet project with Macrame Cord!. I am amazed how versatile crochet turns out using different mediums!

Materials Used:
Macrame Cord from Hippie Crafter
Color: Tan
5.5mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Stitch Marker
Handmade Wooden Tag
Sewing Needle
Crochet Terms(US Terminology):
mr: Magic Ring
ch: Chain
st(s): Stitch(es)
sc: Single Crochet
slst: Slip Stitch
blo: Back Loop
sp: Space
Crochet Pattern :
We work in spiral and use a stitch marker to identify the first stitch!
Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc around the magic ring(6sts)
Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!
Round2: 2sc on each st around (12sts)
Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around(18sts)
Round4: 2sc in one st and 1sc each on next two sts around(24sts)
Round5: 1sc each on three sts and 2sc on the next st around(30sts). Slst Fasten off and leaving a tail(we will make this as a fringe too)
Now cut about 30 cord pieces of about 5inches each.
Tie each cord on the back loop of each stitch as shown.
Now using a hair brush , brush the cords to make them look like fringes!
Finally level the fringes using scissors, the fringe length of my coasters were about 1 inch.
Using a sewing needle, sew a cute handmade wooden tag to the coaster (optional)
Ta-da!, our rustic macrame cord is ready in no time!
