Hello all!… I am very excited to share with you my newest pattern for these cute Bags from my Bubble Wrap Collection!

These bags are very colorful with squishy stitches , it can also be used as Easter egg hunt bags!
Materials:
For Toddler Size:
Yarn: I love this yarn(Hobby Lobby)
Color: Parcel & Bow
Yarn: Big Twist Value
Color: Aqua
Approximately 100 yards for one toddler size bag
Crochet Hook: 5mm (H Hook) (or use the hook that obtains the specified gauge)
Scissors
Leather Tags(Optional)
Gauge:
Using Size 4 Yarn and 5mm Crochet Hook work,
Row1: ch13, 1hdc on the 4th ch from the and 1hdc on each ch till the end.
Row2: ch2 turn(considered as 1st hdc), 1hdc on each till the end (11hdc sts)
Row3-7: Repeat Row2. Fasten off
It should measure 3.4” (inches) length and 3” (inches) height

We will be working on a stitch called as a Pebble Stitch which is a regular Puff Stitch except that it is worked on the Wrong Side(WS)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.
Skill Level: Intermediate
Crochet Pattern:
Toddler Size Bag:
Round1: Magic Ring, 12hdc around the Magic Ring. Slst on top of starting hdc(12hdc sts)
Round2: ch2 (considered as 1st hdc), 2hdc on each st around. 1hdc on the starting stitch where we have worked our ch2. Slst on top of starting ch2.(24hdc sts)
Round3: ch2 (considered as 1st hdc), 2hdc on next st. 1hdc on next and 2hdc on the next st around .Slst on top of starting ch2.(36hdc sts)
Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops.
It’s a regular puff stitch except that it’s worked in the wrong side like a bobble stitch.
Round4: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1sc on the same st, 1PS on the next st, *1sc on the next st, 1PS on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc(18sc sts and 18 PS )
Round5: (worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1sc on top is sc of previous round, 1sc on top of PS of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc.(36sc sts)
Round6-17: Repeat Round4&5
Round18: ch1(does not count as st), 1hdc on each st around. Slst on top of starting hdc(36 hdc sts)
Round19: ch1(does not count as st), 1sc on each st around. Slst on top of starting sc(36 sc sts). Do not fasten off, we’ll be working bag straps right away.
Work 70 chains work slst on the 17th stitch from the working st. Slst on the next st. Work slst on each of the 70 ch backwards Slst on the next st of Round19. Fasten off and weave the ends!
I found these cute bear tags from Amazon and glued them to my bags using a super glue!
You can also use felties, appliqué etc., or you can totally avoid this step!
The toddler size bag is ready!. You can work these bags in any colors and they turn out so cute!
Points to Remember:
Always note the stitch count at the end of each round and check if it matched with the count on the pattern!. In that way you will not miss or add stitches to your work!.
