For Adult Size:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: I love this yarn(Hobby Lobby)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color: Parcel & Bow<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximately 200 yards for one Adult Size Hat<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Hook: 5mm (H Hook) (or use the hook that obtains the specified gauge)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leather Tags and Sewing Needles (Optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gauge<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using Size 4 Yarn and 5mm Crochet Hook work, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: ch13, 1hdc on the 4th ch from the and 1hdc on each ch till the end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch2 turn(considered as 1st hdc), 1hdc on each   till the end (11hdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3-7: Repeat Row2. Fasten off<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It should measure 3.4\u201d (inches) length and 3\u201d (inches) height<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be working on a stitch called as a Pebble Stitch which is a regular Puff Stitch except that it is worked on the Wrong Side(WS)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pebble Stitch<\/strong>:<\/strong> * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working on the Brim:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 1: Chain 70, Make sure that your chain is not twisted and work a slst on to the starting chain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc on the 3rd loop(back bump) of each ch around. Slst on top of starting ch3.(70 dc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3: 1bpsc,ch2( considered as 1st bpdc), 1fpdc on the next st, * 1bpdc on the next st and 1fpdc on the st after that *. Repeat * to * around and work a Slst on top of ch2 of the starting bpdc,ch2 (35 bpdc sts and 35 fpdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 4 – Round 6: Repeat Round2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working on the Hat:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 7: ch3 (considered as 1st dc), 1dc on each st around. Slst on top of starting ch3(70dc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 8: 1bpsc,ch2( considered as 1st bpdc), 1bpdc on each st around. Slst on top of ch2 of the starting bpdc,ch2 (70bpdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pebble Stitch: * yo, insert the hook in the stitch and pull up loop, * repeat from * to * twice, yo pull through all the 7 loops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a regular puff stitch except that it\u2019s worked in the wrong side like a bobble stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 10:(worked in RS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, *1sc on top is sc of previous round, 1sc on top of PS of previous round *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting sc.(70sc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 11: (worked in WS) ch1(does not count as st) turn, 1PS on the same st, 1sc on the next st, *1PS on the next st, 1sc on the next st *. Repeat *to* around. Slst on top of starting PS(35 PS and 35 sc sts )<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this row we work Pebble Stitch in such a way that it\u2019s in between the two PS of Round9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
