It\u2019s almost fall now and it\u2019s a perfect time to work on fall projects!. This is my first fall project for this year and I came up with this pattern in minutes(Yes!\u2026 some days are gifted\u2026.😊)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let\u2019s see how to crochet this quick and simple pumpkin coasters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials Used<\/strong><\/span>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn:Red Heart Soft Yarn
Color:Tangerine<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn:Caron Simply Soft Yarn
Color:Chocolate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn:Caron Simply Soft Yarn
Color:Dark Sage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.5mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Handmade wooden tag(Optional)

Crochet Terms(US Terminology):<\/strong><\/span>

mr: Magic Ring <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ch: Chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc: Single Crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

dc: Double Crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slst: Slip Stitch <\/p>\n\n\n\n

st(s): Stitch(es)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fpdc: Front Post Double Crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be working a stitch called \u2018Puff Stitch\u2019 for this coaster. In the Pattern I\u2019ll just address as Puff Stitch and here is what you need to work for a Puff Stitch <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puff Stitch<\/strong>: Insert the hook into the st, pull up a loop, yo insert the hook into the st pull up a loop, yo insert the hook into the st pull up a loop. 6loops on the hook. Yo pull through all the 6 loops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Pattern:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round1: Magic Ring ,ch3(considered as 1stdc), 11dc around the magic ring. Slst on top of starting ch3(12dc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round2: ch3,1fpdc on the same st. *1dc on the next st and 1fpdc on the same st*. Repeat *to* around.Slst on top of starting ch3.(12dc sts and 12fpdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Puff Stitch: Insert the hook into the st, pull up a loop, yo insert the hook into the st pull up a loop, yo insert the hook into the st pull up a loop. 6loops on the hook. Yo pull through all the 6 loops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round3: 1 Puff stitch and ch1 on each st around. Slst on top of starting puff st. (24 puff st and 24 ch1 sp)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round4: ch1(does not count as a st). 1sc on the same st. 1sc on each st around. Slst on top of starting sc. (48sc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round5: ch1(does not count as a st). 1sc on the same st. 1sc on next2sts. (*Ch3, puff st on the next st, ch1,skip 2sts, 1sc on the next st*)5times. 1sc each on next 4sts. (*Ch3, puff st on the next st, ch1,skip 2sts, 1sc on the next st*)5times. 1sc on the last st. Slst on top of starting sc. Fasten off and weave the ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stem<\/strong><\/span>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attach brown yarn on top of starting sc of round5. Ch5, Slst on 2nd ch from the hook. Slst backwards till the starting st. Fasten off and weave the ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaf<\/strong><\/span>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attach green yarn on top of starting sc of round5. Ch10, 2hdc on the 3rd ch from the hook, *3hdc on the next ch, 2hdc on the next ch*. Repeat *to* till the starting ch. Slst on the last ch. Fasten off and weave the ends .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
