I got this yarn the misty nights yarn along with the Santa sack that was(still is) a rave for couple of weeks now!. For those who are not aware of what a Santa Sack is, these are the mystery sacks from lion brand that was on sale (you get 9skeins of yarn picked up by them and send to you). You don\u2019t know what yarn you get until you receive them. I got these Santa Sacks for 14.99$ a bag. Due to the popularity of this Santa sack now they have increased the price of each sack as 19.99$.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I got 3 skeins of this bling bling yarn the misty nights yarn which was cotton,polyester and acrylic blend. One thing which I was sure about this yarn is that it is very difficult to work intricate stitches with this yarn. The sequins that\u2019s attached to this yarn makes it difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I came up with my version of this Lacey poncho which gives a nice festival look. I named this pattern as \u2018Misty Nights Poncho\u2019 after this yarn!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Misty nights yarn from lion brand <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color: Creme<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5mm Crochet Hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used 3 skeins of the yarn for this project..Each skein is about 194 yards!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: Chain 144, slst on to the starting chain. (Make sure that your chain is not twisted)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch7(ch4+ch3 – ch4 is considered as 1st triple crochet). Skip 3ch, 1tr in the next ch, (ch3, skip 3ch, 1tr in the next ch)7 times, ch3 ,skipPp3ch, (2tr,ch3,2tr) in the next ch, (ch3, skip 3ch, 1tr in the next ch)17times, ch3 ,skip3ch, (2tr,ch3,2tr) in the next ch, (ch3, skip 3ch, 1tr in the next ch)8 times, ch3, skip 3ch , slst on the starting ch4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3: ch7(ch4+ch3 – ch4 is considered as 1st triple crochet). Row 4-Row 22: Follow Row3 and increment in the mid part in the  (2tr,ch3,2tr) group  in every row. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Row 22 Fasten off and weave your ends<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add 2strings of yarn approximately of about 18 cm each. Fold them into half and add in fringes to every triple crochet stitches of your row22. Only in the mid increment stitches you add 3 fringes on each side. Please watch the video tutorial if you have any doubts on adding these fringes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
