Simple crochet projects are the ones that I relax from my loooong crochet projects 😀!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the fun pattern(simple of course!) that I came up with while I was working with one of the never ending crochet project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018Choc in the Block\u2019 Mug Rug is a fun,easy and simple crochet mug rug that even a beginner can attempt to do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials Used:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Yarn: Mainstays 100% Cotton Yarn
Color: Brown Stone
Furls 3.5 mm Crochet Hook
Scissors
Handmade tag(Optional)
Sewing Needles<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used approximately less than 50 yards of yarn for crocheting 2 mug rugs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abbreviations (US Terms):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ch: chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

st(s): stich(es)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc: single crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

dc: double crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slst: slip stitch <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pattern<\/span><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: ch20, 1dc on 5th chain from the hook,1dc each on the next 2 chains. *Skip 1ch , 1dc on the next ch, ch3, 2dc on the post of the dc, skip 1ch*, 1dc each on next 3ch, repeat *to*. 1dc each on next 4 ch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch3 turn, 1dc each on next 3sts , *ch1, 1sc on top of ch3 in the diamond st,ch1,1dc each on next 3 sts *. Repeat *to*. 1dc on top of starting ch3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3: ch3 turn, 1dc each on the next 3 sts. *Skip 1stitch , 1dc on the next st, ch3, 2dc on the post of the dc, skip 1 stitch, 1dc each on next 3sts*, repeat *to*. 1dc each on top of starting ch3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row4: Repeat Row2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row5-Row10: Repeat Row3&Row4. Fasten off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut 10 yarn pieces roughly about 12 cm each and tie them like tassel on each side at equal distance. I used one for every 4 sts. And 5 on each side.\u00a0

Once they are all tied level them up and sew a cute handmade tag to your mug rug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
