Working baby blankets have always been my favorite project !. I can carry them with me along on my road trips. This pattern is one that I came up with in one of my road trips!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love how simple and easy it is to work with. Especially the texture that it creates which looks like little berries!. The blanket is reversible, so I just ended it with a simple shell stitch border so it can be used both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Bernat Baby Sport Yarn
Brand: Yarnspiration
Color: Baby Pink
4mm Crochet Hook
Scissors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used one big skein of this bernat baby sport yarn which was approximately 1077 yards for this project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc: single crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Pattern<\/span><\/strong> :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blanket<\/strong>:
Row1: ch 154, (multiples of 4+2 ch), on the 2nd ch from the hook work (1sc,1hdc,2dc), *skip 3ch, work (1sc,1hdc,2dc) on the next ch* repeat * to * until last 4 ch , skip 3 ch and work 1sc on the last ch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch1 turn work (1sc, 1hdc, 2dc) in the same st(sc), *skip 3sts, work (1sc,1hdc,2dc) on the next sc st * repeat * to * until last 4 sts , skip 3 sts and work 1sc on the last st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3-Row92: Repeat Row2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Border<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the border follow the following diagram each round represent one berry stitch in our blanket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start from one corner berry stitch ch3,4dc and *1sc in between the 2 berry stitch and 1shell in between the next 2 berry stitch * repeat *to* until the last 2 berry stiches and work 1sc in between those 2 berry stitch and 1shell on the corner berry stitch. Repeat this around and work slst on top of starting ch3. Fasten off and weave your ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The finished measurement of this baby blanket is 31.5\u201dX31.5\u201d , however you can add a few more rows to make it bigger for the measurement you want!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
