I\u2019ve started working on my summer projects and this is one of my favorites!. I made this for my 5year old daughter and she loved it !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted this pattern to be very simple and easy that even a beginner should find it easy to work with!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is made by crocheting two squares and seaming them into a crochet top!. It\u2019s a breezy top and looks wonderful when paired with a crop top and shorts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Lion Brand\u2019s Summer Kiss Yarn
Color: Citron\/Lemon
4mm Crochet Hook
Scissors

Crochet Pattern:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: 90 +5 chains. 1dc on 7th ch from the hook,* skip 1ch, ch1,1dc on next ch* . Repeat *to* till the end<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch3+ch1 turn, 1dc on the next dc of the previous row. *ch1, 1dc on top of next dc of the previous row* . Repeat *to* till the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3: ch3 turn, *skip ch1 space of previous row and 1dc of previous row and 1dc on the next ch1 space of previous row , ch3, 3dc on the post of dc on the ch1 space , skip 1dc of the previous row and skip 1 ch1 space of the previous row, 1dc on top of previous row\u2019s dc*. Repeat *to*till the end(last dc is worked on top of previous rows ch3)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row4: ch3+ch2 turn, * 1sc on top ch3 worked on the post of dc (refer pic) worked on previous row, ch2, 1dc on top of dc of previous row, ch2* Repeat * to * till the end. 1dc on top of ch3 of previous row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row5: ch3+ch1, *1dc on top of ch2 space of previous row , ch1, 1dc on top of next ch2 space of previous row, ch1, 1dc on top of dc of previous row, ch1*. Repeat *to* till the end. 1dc on top previous row ch3. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row6-Row37: Repeat Row2-Row5<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row38: Repeat Row2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finishing Row for Shoulders and Neck<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Row38, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row39: ch1 turn, *1sc on the dc of the previous row and 1sc on the ch1 space of the previous row *. Repeat * to * across. Slst fasten off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Border trim: Attach yarn to one corner, ch1 sc on the same st, *1picot in the ch1 space, 1sc on top of next dc, 1sc on the next ch1 space, 1sc on the next dc* . Repeat *to*till the end. 1sc on top of last st. Slst and fasten off<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hold the 2 pieces of your work together with the wrong side of both the pieces facing each other inside<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By holding both your pieces work slst on both the back loops of corresponding stitch in both your piece. Work slst this way for 20sts on each side.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Sleeves from one piece from Row 23 work up until Row39 and Row39 of the next piece to its Row23 around . Thank the Pattern for sleeves work 3sc and 1picot around evenly spaced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work the sleeve pattern for both sides. Fasten off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now turn your work inside out with the wrong side facing outside and the write side facing inside. Seam the sides on both the sides . You can use slst or can sew them using a tapestry needle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have used slst on corresponding stitches on both sides. Fasten off weave out ends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weave all the ends and turn your top inside out. The Beautiful Citrus Sunshine top is ready!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to make this top for any size?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simply work chains in multiples of 6 and add 5 more chains like we did for this size, I\u2019ve worked 90+5 chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
