I\u2019ve been wanting to try my hand on this yarn, \u201cThe Lion Brand Mandala\u2019s Ombr\u00e9 Yarn\u201d. I loved the texture of this yarn and loved it\u2019s bright colors perfect for spring projects!. Now let\u2019s see how to crochet this fun project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Lion Brand Mandala Ombr\u00e9<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color: Tranquil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6mm Crochet Hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tapestry Needle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Handmade Tags (Optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Abbreviations (US Terms):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ch: chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

slst: slip stitch <\/p>\n\n\n\n

st(s): stich(es)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

hdc: half double crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Headband:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: Ch14, Slst on 2nd ch from the hook, *hdc on the next st, slst on the next st*. Repeat *to* till the end. (Starting and ending stitch will always be Slst in each row)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch1, turn. Slst on the first st, *hdc on the next st, slst on the next st*. Repeat *to* till the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row3-Row74: Repeat Row2. Leave a long tail for sewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fold the ends of your work as shown in the picture and sew the ends holds both ends folded. For more clarification refer the video link.\u00a0

If you have your custom leather tag adding it will give a professional finish!. I bought these cute handmade tags from amazon and you can buy them from Amazon!. But this is totally optional!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coffee Cup Cozy:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is exact same pattern as that of the headband but the number of rows worked only will differ. For the Cup Cozy we only work 37 rows!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row1: Ch14, Slst on 2nd ch from the hook, *hdc on the next st, slst on the next st*. Repeat *to* till the end. (Starting and ending stitch will always be Slst in each row)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Row2: ch1, turn. Slst on the first st, *hdc on the next st, slst on the next st*. Repeat *to* till the end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
