Strawberries are so in season and hope everyone are gearing up for some strawberry picking in a farm near you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is my love towards strawberries with this cute pattern design!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These cute strawberry amigurumis can be made with regular size4 acrylic yarn or plush yarn of your choice!. Pattern will be same you just change your hook size!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials Needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Acrylic Yarn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Any Size4 acrylic yarn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.5mm Crochet Hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Plush Yarn:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Bernat Baby Velvet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color: Potpourri, Bleached Aqua, Ever after pink<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: I love this Yarn(Hobby Lobby)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Color: White <\/p>\n\n\n\n

4mm Crochet Hook <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stitch Marker <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tapestry Needle <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polyfil\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Terms (US Terminology):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

mr: Magic Ring <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ch: Chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

st(s): Stich(es)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc: Single Crochet <\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc2together: Single Crochet Two Together <\/p>\n\n\n\n

slst: Slip Stitch <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Pattern:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will be working in a spiral and we will not end each round with a slst, we will start the next round continuously. Hence we need a stitch marker to identify the first stitch of each round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color Potpourri<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc sts on the magic ring(6sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round2: 1sc in one st and 2sc in the next st around(9sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round3: 1sc each in two sts and 2sc in the next st around(12sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round4: 1sc in each st around(12sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round5: 1sc in one st and 2sc in the next st around(18sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round6: 1sc in each st around(18sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round7: 1sc each in two sts and 2sc in the next st around(24sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round8: 1sc in each st around(24sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round9: 1sc each in three sts and 2sc in the next st around(30sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round10-11: 1sc in each st around(30sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round12: 1sc each in three sts and sc2together in the next 2sts around(24sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round13: 1sc each in two sts and sc2together in the next 2sts around(18sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round14: 1sc each in one st and sc2together in the next 2sts around(12sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round15: sc2together in every 2sts around(6sts6sts). Fasten off and leave a tail to sew the opening. Sew the opening if you have any with the same tail!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working the seed on the surface:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add the white acrylic yarn to needle and sew the seed on the surface of strawberry as shown!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working on the leaf and stock-With Color Bleached Aqua:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leave some yarn and start round1( we will use this to work the stock)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round1: Magic Ring 6sc on the magic ring. Slst on top of starting sc.(6sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round2: *ch6, 1sc on the 2nd st from the hook. 1sc each on next 4sts. Slst on the next sc st of round1.*. Repeat *to* 5 more times. Slst on the starting st. Fasten of leave a long tail for sewing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pull the center string on top and work 4ch. 1slst on 2nd ch from the hook and 1st each on next 2ch. Weave the ends!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place the leaves on the strawberry with pins and sew it on the strawberry!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insert the odd ends of all the yarn bits inside the amigurumi using a flat end of metal hook or a small dovet stick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make them in acrylic yarn or plush yarn of your choice and enjoy this cute project!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
