I am obsessed with the 3rd strawberry stitch pattern. I made my first project (coffee cup sleeve) with it. I can\u2019t wait to try many projects with this pattern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These stitches are three dimensional and looks very pretty. You just have to be comfortable working with 3 colors of yarn at the same time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This coffee cup cozy makes a wonderful teacher gift or a coworkers gift for Valentine\u2019s Day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Size 4 acrylic yarn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colors: Red,White, Sage Green\/Green<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.5 mm Crochet Hook <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Pattern:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round1: ch30, make sure your chain is not twisted. Slst on the 1st chain<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round2: ch1(doesn\u2019t count as a stitch), 1hdc on the 3rd loop(back bump) of the same ch, 1hdc on the 3rd loop of each ch around.slst on top of 1st hdc(30hdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round3: ch1(doesn\u2019t count as a stitch), 1hdc on the 3rd loop of the same st, 1hdc on the 3rd loop of each st around.slst on top of 1st hdc (30hdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strawberry Stitch(SS): Change the yarn color to red, work 5dc on the st, remove the hook from last dc and insert the hook on the 1st dc pull the last dc loop into 1st dc ,change the yarn color to green, *insert the hook through the post of 1dc, pull up a loop* , repeat *to* 3 more  times.yo pull through all the loops. Change the yarn color to original color <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 4: ch3(considered as 1st dc), 1dc each on next 3sts, 1SS in the next st, *1dc each in next 4 sts, 1SS in the next st*. Repeat *to* around.slst on top of starting ch3<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round5: ch1(doesn\u2019t count as a stitch), 1hdc on the same st, 1hdc on each st around. slst on top of 1st hdc(30hdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round6: ch1(doesn\u2019t count as a stitch), 1hdc on the 3rd loop of the same st, 1hdc on the 3rd loop of each st around. slst on top of 1st hdc (30hdc sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 8-9: Repeat Round5&6<\/p>\n\n\n\n
