Cupid Bees\u2026these super cute Baby Bees are very easy to make. There are fast and easy to make and are perfect for classroom valentine exchange!. You can make a bunch in less time. They are also ideal project to use up your yarn ends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials Used:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yarn: Hobby Lobby – I love this Yarn<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colors: White, Red, Rosy Cheeks, Soft White<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.5mm Crochet Hook<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scissors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stitch Marker<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sequined Ribbons<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Polyfil<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety Eyes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White Crochet Thread<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tapestry Needle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sewing Needle<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hot Glue Gun<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Terms(US Terminology):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

mr: Magic Ring<\/p>\n\n\n\n

sc: Single Crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

dc: Double Crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

tr: Treble Crochet<\/p>\n\n\n\n

slst: Slip Stitch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crochet Pattern:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bees<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will need stitch markers to work this bees as we will not end each round with slst. We wil continuously start working the next round , so in order to identify the first stitch we will need a stitch marker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color1:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round1: Magic Ring, 6sc (6sts) (don\u2019t work slst)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round2: 2sc on each st around (12 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round3: 1sc on one st and 2sc on the next st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round4-5: 1sc on each st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color2:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round6-7: 1sc on each st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color1:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round8-9: 1sc on each st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color2:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round10-11: 1sc on each st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With Color1:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round12-13: 1sc on each st around (18 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round14: 1sc in one st, sc2together in next 2sts around (12 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attach the Safety Eyes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Stuff the Bee with Polyfil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round15: sc2together in 2sts around (6 sts)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using a Tapestry Needle sew the opening. Fasten off and weave the ends!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wings:(Make 2)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let\u2019s make the wings. We will need to make 2 of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magic ring, ch3, 2tr,3dc,ch1,1tr,ch1,3dc,2tr,ch3, slst. Now lets tighten the magic ring and secure it with a knot!. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing!.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now Sew the Wings to the Bee with the right side facing outside!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now with a sewing needle and white crochet thread, sew it on the side of the safety eyes for cute detailing(optional)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now cut the sequined ribbon and paste it on the place where the wings are sewn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Cute Cupid Bees are now ready. Now i just can\u2019t stop making them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
